THOMAS M. ATCHISON

Tom provides the leadership and vision within the organization to build the worlds first civilian space programs that facilitate civlian space exploration and research by establishing space programs in high schools that inspire and engage middle school and high school students to pursue STEM disciplines and careers.

Tom has over 25 years of management experience in the high technology industry and has mentored and lectured on early stage venture formation, as part of the graduate entrepreneurial education programs at Stanford University ’s School of Engineering. He has been a speaker for the Sacramento Technology Business Alliance, and provided mentoring to start-up technology firms through the Sacramento Area Regional Technology Alliance, the University of California Davis Center for Entrepreneurship, and the School of Medicine.

Tom holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a B.S. in Radiochemistry from San Jose State University and has completed graduate work in Business and Engineering Management at Santa Clara University and is certified Tripoli L3.

Erik Charlton

ERIK CHARLTON

On any given weekend, you can find Erik in his garage, trying to wire up some sort of new video system for one of his rockets. Because of his passion for portable technology, rocketry and interest in improving elementary school education in the U.S., Erik has been an enthusiastic supporter of Mavericks’ mission.

Erik is currently the Vice President of Product Marketing for the Retail Pointing Device Business Unit at Logitech, Inc. Prior to joining Logitech, Erik co-founded Jarna, Inc., a wireless synchronization technology company that was acquired by Visto Corporation in 2003.

Erik also currently serves on the Board of the Philips Brooks School in Menlo Park, California, and has served on the Board of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Alumni Association.

Erik holds a B.S. and B.A. from Stanford University, a M.M. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and is certified Tripoli L3.

Stanely Moss

STANLEY MOSS

Stanley is currently the Chief Executive Officer and General Secretary of The Medinge Group, a high-level international marketing think-tank on branding, and is the founder and CEO of the Diganzi Group, an international marketing consultancy.

Stan’s career of over 40 years spans locales from Southern California to New York City, Paris, London, Hong Kong, and Portland, Oregon, branding for clients as diverse as The American Hotel & Motel Association, Citibank’s International Banking Group, Coca-Cola of Belgium, the French-American Chamber of Commerce, Drexel Burnham Lambert, General Atlantic Corporation, Intel, Lucasfilm, Jantzen, The New York Times Company, the University of California at Berkeley and Xceptor Therapeutics.

In 2001 he founded Diganzi, an interdisciplinary practice, working in conjunction with a network of specialist firms to engage deeper brand issues in the international arena.
